Sitges is always a beautiful destination for holidays. All year long you can enjoy the sun beside the sea, a fantastic hotel infrastructure, and nice and well-surfaced roads. You can reach also Penedes region to cycle among vineyards, and visit some wineries. There are plenty of them producing the world-wide known Cava.
The most successful route we organize starting from Sitges or Vilanova I la Geltrú goes towards the beautiful Pantà de Foix, and the fairy-tale village called Castellet (very nice castle overlooking the Foix dam). Then we continue to the mountains, climbing the scenic Coll de la Ventosa with amazing views of the countryside and the sea. Then we get the small village called Pontons (maybe a nice place for a coffee stop!) and leading afterward in a mild and long descent to Vilafranca del Penedes. Time to be paid-off for the effort!
Finally we get back to Sitges via Sant Pere de Ribes, in a solitaire and nice road, leaving aside the busy C-32.
